Let the Word of God change you, and become the reflection that changes the world.
My name is Shanda Fulbright. Welcome to my blog! Raise your hand if you look at yourself in the mirror every day.
Hey, I see you! If you’re like me, you look at yourself in the mirror and want to fix the person looking back at you. I’m right there with ya! If you’ve been working on your reflection for a while and still aren’t liking what you see, I hope you’ll stick around. This is not your ordinary “let’s get healthy” blog. Why? I believe there’s a few other mirrors in our lives that we’ve been neglecting, and if we can start looking into those I’m convinced we’ll get fitter AND we may even like what we see.
I’ve been a crossfitter for several years now and am studying to become a health coach. I’m also a minister and am very passionate about the human soul. I’ve mirrored those two passions together and realized health is more than just working on the reflection we see in our bathroom mirror. I’ll share some obvious ways to become physically fit, but my focus will always be on how the physical parallels the spiritual for mind, body and soul health. My goal is to help others realize that focusing on physical health is a start, but it’s not enough.
You don’t have to be a crossfitter, nutrition guru, or athlete to gain insight from what I will share with you. Actually, I’d go as far as saying that if you own a mirror you’re in the right place. You’ll be surprised with how many people share your insecurities, including myself. I’m going to take you on a health journey that looks a little different than ones you may be used to, but I believe it’s the key to a better reflection.
To learn more, I suggest going to my first blog post titled “Beginning Reflections.” So let’s start looking in some mirrors!
